Commissioning a Custom Painting

Each custom piece is created by hand using traditional watercolor techniques on high-quality paper. I create commissioned watercolor portraits of pets, homes, and cars, focusing on capturing not just an accurate likeness, but the personality, character, and emotion of each subject through careful observation, composition, and detail. Every commission is approached with the same level of care, craftsmanship, and attention, resulting in a one-of-a-kind artwork made specifically for you.

I offer two commission options to fit different needs and budgets. A traditional watercolor painting is priced at $180 and features layered washes, rich color, and refined detail. A sketch commission, priced at $100, offers a more minimal, expressive style that emphasizes line work and form. Both options are fully custom and created from your reference photos.

How the Process Works

To get started, place a commission request through the store and provide a selection of clear, well-lit reference photos of your pet, house, or car. Natural lighting and sharp focus help ensure the best results. Once I review your photos, I will confirm the details and timeline before beginning the artwork. A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your commission, with the remaining balance due once the artwork is complete and approved.

When your painting or sketch is finished, I will share preview images for final confirmation. After receiving the remaining payment, your artwork will be carefully packaged and shipped with tracking. Turnaround time varies based on current availability and complexity, typically ranging from a few weeks to longer during busy periods. If you have a specific deadline, feel free to mention it when ordering and I will let you know if an expedited timeline is possible.
